Murky pools of mud and rain had formed around the female’s feet. She had heard many stories about this place when she had been in the city. How many canines had become fearful when they had entered these grounds, on the other hand the female wolf had gotten in here with even the slightest sense of anything? Her ears were up hearing every little sound that was going on around her, her muzzle was not in a snarl but in a smirk.

”How could anyone be so foolish as to be nervous in a place like this?” she smiled to her self happily, shaking the bitter rain away from her pelt. It had become quite chilly for a summer day much colder than usually, but the female cherished it she loved the downpour and the way her huge pelt seemed to absorb it so nicely.

The wolf hurriedly got out of her thoughts and remembered why she was here. She had come in search of the Synl pack. This pack had not just been a name pulled out of a hat though, the wolf’s parent had in fact been killed by the Sallin pack and she had decided to come and avenge them, though she was not fond of either of them. She couldn’t tell if she was trying to join the pack for her self or for her parents but at the moment that really didn’t matter.

“Hello…” she howled ambitiously. “ Show yourself I come asking entry into you pack.” She turned just to be sure no one had come up behind her though she highly doubted they wouldn’t have been detected.

Sonny was drenched he'd been out in the rain for awhile, his paws were brown with mud and he looked like a very large drowned rat. He was running trying to get out of the rain, there seemed to be no refuge from it though. His wet ears pricked upon hearing a howl of greeting and he turned to run toward the sound and let out a howl of his own to say 'I'm coming!'

He continued to run until he was sure he saw something in the distance getting closer to it he realized it was the wolf he was trying to find, he stood back to pant and catch his breath, he really wanted to sit down but if he did he'd get mud all over his backside. His tongue hung out in a smile his tail wagged but he stopped it due to the fact that it was wet and therefor heavier than usual.

He looked over at the wolf and called out a greeting "Hi! I'm Sonny! I heard you were looking for acceptance when you called out before, I'm here to help you out with that!"

He then watched to see the reaction, not wanting to get too close yet, or maybe just not wanting too because he was tired he couldn't decide between the two.

A mischievous grin spread a cross the wolf’s face.” Oh good,” she thought to herself. “They sent the male alpha.”

She now took several steps toward Sonny still they were just about touching noses. “Nice to me you Sonny I’m Noell.” She giggled; circling the male till she had gotten back to her position in front of him, and then quickly plopped on the wet ground.

” Well as you heard before I have come in search of …..Acceptance if you will.” She smiled batting her impossibly long eyelashes. “Is there some sort of task I have to do or do you just give me the okay or nokay about joining?” She laughed standing once aging and began to stroke Sonny’s chin with her feathery tail, which oddly had not become muddy at all.

She had hoped this would boost her up a level in Sonny’s likening but if not she had no problem with using one of her many other methods.

Sonny found this behavior rather odd, it wasn't everyday a stranger wandered up and began acting this friendly. He thought for a second and decided to ask a question first being a little worried she might be a spy.

"I'd just first like to ask, why Synl? Just out of interest you know but otherwise there really isn't a test unless you seek one of the higher ranks" he said, "Of coarse there would be no need to test you for normal skills that everyone possesses".

Noell was making him feel rather uncomfortable, he couldn't listen to anything flirty she said to him, Kahvie still needed him, they were not mates but he would not try to push her out for any other canine, no matter what it wasn't right. He kept up his smile though not wanted to seem grouchy but if she continued he would tell her to stop.

When Sonny spoke of higher ranks she froze and quickly ran in front of him an arms length away, she had forgotten all other priorities when he said those two golden words, which equaled power. “ You know on second thought I’d love to try out for a higher position!” She smiled not flirily but mischievously. “ You see I chose this pack because the dreaded wolfs of Sallin killed my parents and I come to…. you know avenged them if you will.” she laughed and began to beat her eyelashes once aging . This male stayed so proper when she flirted with completely unlike the other street mutts she seduced she liked it the way her kept his place.

"I understand, Sallin are terrible but you mustn't charge straight in and try and do something alone. Tell me what position are you looking for?" He asked.

She was definitely eager to get started, he decided he would keep an eye or her, but she might be just what the pack needed at the moment. He decided to definitely talk things over with Kahvie before promising Noell anything. He had never liked making big decisions alone and had always had Kahvie by his side to help him, even when they were children they constantly caused trouble by playing pranks.

Friends were one of the best things in life, he thought. As for him he'd always have friends no matter what, he was friends with his almost his whole pack and especially Kahvie they were life long friends, been together since they were pups and would be until they died. However he feared Noell would be someone he wouldn't be able to get on with all that well, if he had to he'd 'dance' around her like he did to adults he couldn't get along with.

“Who says I have to jump into a position ALONE.” She teased, gradually standing once aging began stroking Sonny’s chin with her tail.

“Well if you have the position open I wouldn’t mind trying out for Beta.” Noell grinned; she had begun to notice this method was making Sonny uncomfortable…but why.

“Is something bothering in you, Sonny? Is it all the stress of leading a pack or is it the fact you’re Alpha next to a friend rather than a mate?” She knew this question would eat away at him and would probably cause him to snap at her but as along as she got the reaction she wanted she knew how to handle it.

“By the for this Beta thing, if this position is open of course, what do I have to do to earn my valuable prize of a rank?” She ask, leisurely rubbing up against Sonny drenched fur

Sonny narrowed his eyes slightly at the fact she thought he couldn't handle things in a pack but only for a second before they went back to normal again and he was is old happy self.

"The beta position is currently open, but for that rank I'd have to speak to Kahvie to decide on the test" he said.

He tried his best to completely ignore everything else she was saying and doing, he knew he needed to keep his cool. Though he'd never been in a position like this before, Sonny was not one to angry quickly if at all. He looked over at where he though Kahvie might be, come on Kahvie I need help, he thought.

It was clear he couldn't do anything to big by himself, Kahvie and Sonny were best friends and not being mates didn't bother him in the least, best friends always did things together and Sonny intended to take on hard situations with her by his side and looked about still hoping she'd come, when she didn't he shook his head sending droplets of water flying.

"And just who might this be?" Kahvie, having heard Noell's call, now showed herself. The mutt wasn't normally so slow in replying to the howls of newcomers, but today she had fallen victim to the fatigue brought on by the wave of new canines passing through Synl. And while she was glad that the Beav had approached this new female so quickly, she had to admit to being a bit cranky at the moment.

The first thing that made the mutt's fur stand up on her back was the fact that this newcomer was full wolf. While Synl was always open to wolves who needed shelter from Sallin, or simply sought a home, something seemed intimidating about Noell. A possible spy, or even as assasin. And given the way that she had moved around Sonny...the way she had moved around Sonny...

Fully irritated, Kahvie allowed herself to move between the two, creating a barrier. Her wine ears back, she narrowed her gaze and addressed the larger female. "Is there something we can help you with...because here, wolves are not easily trusted."

"Ahhhhhhhhhh." Noell thought to herself smiling as Kavhie passed in between them. She knew she would show she had known from the start and now the prize seemed even closer.

"Ah, you must be the leader they call Kavhie I have heard many things 'bout you." she smiled carefully making sure her head was held higher than both of them. Once Kavhie spoke the line of wolves not being easily trusted Noell couldn’t help but smirk. " Kavhie, Kavhie, I don’t not like being judged on my blood, if that is indeed what I understand you are not trusting me for, but rather my personality if you would." she grinned and now quickly passed beside Kavhie and in front of her as to make sure she was paying attention. " Now Kavhie your fine mate, or sorry friend." She quickly began to sit down with a witty self confident smile." Has told me you hold a position open here in Synl as beta which is one of the few reasons I stand before you." She now leaned in closer as if to make sure Kavhie heard every syllable that Noell she was about to speak. "What do I have to do for it?" She finished frankly making sure her point got across surely and strongly.

She now quickly turned her head toward Sonny, as if to make sure she had said everything correctly, and she quickly began to hope the challenge wasn’t much of a challenge at all. Now that Kavhie was here she didn’t quiet now if she could work her way out of it as planned.

Sonny sighed with reliefe at Kahvie's arival, he honestly didn't trust Noell too much but he needed to Kahvie to help decide this one. He knew somehow she'd come up with the perfect task if Noell was allowed to try for beta.

He himself didn't like wolves much, too big for his liking, besides they could often be untrustworthy, but some were different, all the different things Sonny had heard about wolves went on around his head, but he managed to atleast keep a straight face.

Sonny didn't like the way she had spoken to Kahvie, didn't she realize that if she got the position she'd have to listen to Kahvie and take orders from her? He looked at Kahvie wondering if she felt the same worries he had, this was going to be a tough one.

(OOC: Sorry for taking so long to reply! Also, Sonny's player seems to have disappeared, so I'll be taking care of his RPs in this one.)

As Noell weaved around Sonny and herself, Kahvie remained stiff, but allowed her eyes to follow the other female. This wolf was rude...very rude. Not only that, but she was expecting to gain a rank in Synl...with that attitude! The mutt shook her head slowly, her headfur and goggle straps swaying and weaving along with the motion.

"You are asking for a rank that requires loyalty and respect...from what I know of you so far, you have neither. You raise your head above both the alphas of this land...so why should we respect you? What do you really want from us?"
