Ardrane dipped his head again. "Thank you, Alphess Sofika. I'll do my best to become an honorable member of your pack." he spoke as she padded away. A real pack! He was part of a pack again! And one without a tyranical leader, no less. Ardrane felt he could almost wriggle with joy.. but respect and dignity held him motionless.

Pollux simply nodded to the Alphess as she left, that had gone well, better than she could have imagined, really. Sofika must have been in a glowing mood. As the elder female melding into the darkness, the scout just sighed a breath of relief.
"That went...well." she smiled and wagged her tail. "I'd say so, wouldn't you Andrane?"

Ardrane was still too happy to speak, so he just nodded in agreement. There was so much to do now! He didn't know what, exactly, but it was all there in front of him. First things first, he thought, he needed to find out what was expected of him.
He found his voice at last. "What do I do now..?" he asked Pollux, white eyes staring unwaveringly in her direction. "Is there a job I should fill, or.." He flicked an ear uncomfortably, feeling stupid for asking such a question.
