8. Tonka is very pretty. She had just the right proportions for her breed, and if she lived in a different time and had an owner, she would most likely be a show dog. Her coloration is very interesting for her breed. It is called red merle, and it gives a unique touch to her coat. the only reason she isn't a 10 is because she is very, very dirty.

Appearance:

She looks like any other border collie really, just with a different color coat then most. sometimes her ears are perked upwards, but most of the time they rest like the picture above.

Personality:

She is friendly, nice, and well mannered most of the time. She can’t resist a good pile of garbage, and if she finds one will most likely eat some of it and roll in it a bit. She can be a bit flirty without knowing she is being flirty, and she can tell when others are lying to her. She hates being lied to. She is not afraid of humans and most of the time will go right up to them without even thinking about it.

Not much, she was born homeless, and still is.

I really like the artwork. It's lovely and I'd have to agree that her hue is most peculiar for a border collie. Sure, some are a red-copper colour, but not patchy also. *beams*

*giggles* yeah... i thought i might as well put that in there. her personalety is mosly based off of my dog, with the garbage and people part. i'm not quite sure if my dog flirts though...

Yeah, my forum is hanging on by a thread. Is there really such a thing as a site of the different colours for border collies? Yes, that would be interesting.

Basing characters off of one self or their own acquaintances (such as dogs) always seems like a bright idea.
