-"Did Carter not give you a full report upon your return, My Queen?" said Damien giving a surprised expresion "I have been informing him every night I return from my rounds."
For a moment she thought carefully what this could mean, her son plotting against her, the heir of Sallin... Her thoughts ran fast, ah, but he wouldn't dare. There was a piece that didn't fit quite right, either Damien was lying or her son had more skill than she had taken him for. Her absence may have influenced something on him... Ah, but what if she found out first to see if Damien was truly saying the truth or simply playing around, if he were, Carter would be in trouble. Her eyes narrowed and she turned towards Damien, flashing her fangs.
-"You suspect the heir of treason?" she pointed out, raising an eybrow.
By suspecting the heir of treson, Damien would be commiting treason himself, what a pickle he was in. He would need to think carefully what he woulld say and how any sign could be taken as treason to the royalty.

"You suspect the heir of treason?"
He saw the question coming from a mile a way. Honestly, he suspected something. Whether it was treason or stupidity, he did not know.
"Lost information does not constitute treason, My Queen. I believe Carter has been working hard in your absence. Perhaps he did not hear my words clearly enough. It's a shame his attention couldn't have waited to slip on a less serious matter."
Pleased with his answer, Damian awaited any rebuttal from NightShade. His confidence was growing, but he reminded himself not to get cocky. That's when it was most possible to slip up. Instead, he focused on what was to come. Perhaps he would escape this encounter with the Queen with his head attached.

A quick mind, Nightshade could tell that Damien could be a dangerous wolf if he wished, not in a fight, though he obviously be a good fighter, Cohen could easily ripped him to pieces. No he was dangerous because of his wits, quick mind and the willingness to use them. She tipped her chin and her yellow eyes narrowed, this time even a slight slip of the tongue, eye twitch anything that would lead her to believe his true intentions.
-"I believe so, I will have a talk with him" she said, ending the matter "Anything else you'd like to inform before the pack is overrun by all of Sweden's packs" she hissed dangerously.
((Sry so short!))

The irises of Damian's eyes widened by an unnoticeable fraction. Did the very Queen of Sallin doubt her pack's strength? Or perhaps she was realizing that it was truly impossible to declare war on an entire species. Whatever it was, he dared not to question it. He quite liked life, despite his current living quarters.
"Nothing more, Lady NightShade," he answered with a bow of his head, "I'll report to you after my duties have concluded for the day."
With that, he began to move away, aiming his paws down along the border. However great his need to be rid of her presence, he moved slowly. He didn't want her to have the pleasure of knowing that she frightened the living daylights out of him.

She saw Damien's eye widened and she growled threatedly. What was the fool thinking about, his expression bothered her truly. She held his gaze, her eyes boring into his skull. She might as well have his head for that gesture, but Sallin needed a guardian and he was lucky to be the only one. After a while she straightened herself, still holding Damien's gaze. She snorted.
-"Nothing more, Lady NightShade," he answered with a bow of his head, "I'll report to you after my duties have concluded for the day."
She snorted again, keeping careful watch of what he would do. He slowly turned away, although slowly she could tell by the way he walked he was uneasy. Probably dying to get out of her sight. Her eyes narrowed, but she kept quiet. Let him have his little fun, for now. But even a slight slip of a paw and she would bring the whole of Sallin at his heels. In other words, he better be quick on his feet and not allow even the slightest slip up. If not Nightshade would have him on her grasp and next time, he won't be so lucky as to simply turn away.
-"I expect so" she hissed, turning back to Sallin, away from the border. Probably will head to the salves first then a chat with a certain wolf. then a quick thought hit her, she turned to look over her shoulder, smiling "Keep a careful watch on Arnlan's and Geera's border, will ya?" she said almost mockingly, quickly turning away.

"Keep a careful watch on Arnlan's and Geera's border, will ya?"
"Yes, my Queen," Damian replied without emotion.
Inside, the Guardian felt every need to go strait to the Slave's hold. Every rational thought, however, told him that NightShade would be waiting. He would have to wait for a while. Possibly a LONG while. He knew the Queen's suspicions could last a long time. He would have to prove his loyalty somehow. Hopefully the opportunity would come quickly.
With this thought in mind, he padded at a more normal pace toward the border. Instead of going strait to the Arnlanian border, he would circle his way there. He would sharpen his senses and slow his pace around the Arnlanian border.
