Shila eyed the male curiously as he said that he was not hurt, but acted hurt. She also noticed the small cut above his eye. She remained on the dock, an uneasy feeling about the whole situation. He was obviously wolf. She had not seen very many wolves in her time, only ever so often spotting them while out on the racing trail. But her breed was closly related to the old arctic wolves of Alaska. She cocked a curious brow at him as Rallie suddenly turned and faced the newcomer. She boldly stepped off the dock and approached the gray wolf. And after questioning him from where he'd come and that the barrel he was after contained only rotting fish bones, the pitiful creature seemed to give up, plopping himself to the ground, waiting for death.
Shila was utterly confused. Why was he acting so helpless? There was plenty of food around the Port in other places. Shila hopped down from the dock and trotted up next to Rallie. Before she could say a thing, a new scent drifted in on the breeze, a new creature was approaching. Out of nowhere, the female appeared from the shadows. With her came an air of mystery and the uneasy feeling of a hidden agenda. Shila's ears fell back, her unease clearly written in the slight scowl that formed on her maw. The female came in with a submissive expression, but the way she held herself dared anyone to try and mess with her. Shila did not trust her. She took a few steps back as the gray male demanded to know who exactly she was. Shila's blue eyes turned back to the new female.
"Yes, I too would like to know who you are. I am Shila, fairly new to this Port. I have met only once the female named Faline, and that was to be granted the right to live peacefully in this port. I have not seen her since, nor do I know where to find her. What business may you have with her?"
Shila did not know why she asked the question. She only felt that this dog, this very large mix breed, gave off an eerie vibe she'd never felt. Something was not exactly right. She was telling the truth about her knowlege of Faline. She had no reason to like or dislike the alpha of Rakine, but she was in fact, a member of this so called pack, and felt that she had some duty towards it.
