"This is a place o' death."
The first thing that popped into the young wolves mind was that of war, of fighting, of conflict. Shivering slightly as the mist slowly wrapped around his limbs, he glanced around with shifty eyes again. So, was that why there was so many bones to be found here? Had many wolves died at this place because of fighting between them, and so their bones had slowly, of the years, been covered by the ground? Shaking his head, he believed that was a possible reason, but doubt lingered in his mind. He had no idea that the bones he had been nibbling on where that of humans.
"Listen boy. Shalt ye be alright upon this eve?"
Calibur nodded. He had speant many nights here, in worse conditions. This dog had just come along one night and scared the wits out of him though, making him completely unsure of whether or not he should stay in this place. Gulping, he backed away a step or two, very slowly then stopped and watched Murk. His eyes were... watering? Panic... or something was glinting in them old eyes of his, and it was freaking Cal out. He would be ok once he was gone probably... but he did not want to be rude and ask him to leave him in peace.
" Yeah... I'll be fine... "
Or would he?

The large shuck looked over the wolf casually, yet still his features looked as though Murk had seen a ghost, or worse. He gulped and then panted nervously, his cropped ears twitching at every which way the wind blew.
"If ye ever need a bit o'elp or maybe a spot o'tucker, boy...ask for Murk...m'mates and ah...we kin elp y'out..." it was a strangely considerate offer of aid that Murk gave Calibur, he didn't normally stick his neck out for nobody. "In Rakine....ye see?"
Then again, poor Cal was nothing more than a lone wolf in an evil graveyard. The beast didn't want the poor thing to die out here like...who, who had died out here?
You know who...

A grateful nod was of his maw and he straightened himself up. " Thank you Murk, your help is greatly appreciated." Rakine, he thought. Familiar place. Many times had Cal been to and fro from there, stealing their food, wrecking their yards... well, that was actually a long time ago, but still, he regretted destryoing property. Smiling somewhat with another nod, he turned to the side and peered to the exit to the graveyard. " Think I'll head out of here for a little while. Or... I don't know. I might stay a little longer, then I'll come to Rakine and visit you sometime. "
He had just gone and assumed that Murk was going to leave, and go back to Rakine. But if he was not, Cal would be very pleased, because at least now he would have some form of company. Things got lonely these days, what with being alone in a place such as this. Spinning to face the old sea dog again, Calibur wagged his tail. This night had turned out to be better than he had expected. Murk was not a devil dog, lusting the blood of harmless, mocking bird like wolves such as he. Instead, he appeared to be a kind old dog... if on the gruff side. Never the less, Calibur felt he had made a new friend in him.
" Thanks... Murk."

Murk took two steps to leave, and then paused, what had brought him here to this place, to meet this wolf. The dark shuck was a deeply superstitious if not spiritual creature. He did not believe in circumstance...and he was leaving the beast he was supposed to meet...alone in the graveyard at night.
He turned in a clean pivot to look at the little wolf. "Because...ah could stay a spell iffinya dinnae fell safe 'ere alone." He looked over the cemetery with a sneer, as to frighten it backwards.

As Murk began his steps, Cal watched carefully as he took his two steps and stopped. A curious look flushed his face and he wrinkled his brow slightly. Was there something wrong? Flicking his ears he watched Murk spun on the spot to face him and he leaped backwards a little out of fright from the swift action. Such moves coming from an old looking dog like him came completely unexpected to Calibur who frowned.
" I'm alright Murk, honestly. I can take care of myself. " he said this in a calm voice, but to be honest, he knew he could not take care of himself as much as he would have liked to. Being a very submissive wolf he was vurnerable against bigger, larger wolves or dogs. Perhaps he had struck it lucky with Murk being as nice as he seemed. Initially Cal had thought that he would be a viscious big brute, but he was still deciding.
" I'm Ok, you can go if that's what you were going to do. "
Cal smiled weakly.

Mad as the beast was, he had a soft spot somewhere in his dark heart, he wasn't all bad, just...mostly not good. But that didn't make Murk outrightly evil. He did know however that this place was not good, and he pitied the young wolf for staying here.
"Ye welcome t'come with. Y'know..." he really didn't want to stay in the cemetery over night, not with what felt like memories of something wrong floating up to the top. But still he didn't want something horrible to get Calibur in the middle of the night....

Looking over his shoulder the small wolf shuddered a little. The wind had caused the trees that outlined the crumbling wall of the cemetary to groan and creak. Why did the cemetary seem all of a sudden so... creepy and scary? Maybe he would go away with Murk. Seemed like a good idea. A big brute like him was very intimidating and he would keep trouble away... but Cal wasn't in it for the protection right enough. Companionship was still something he secretly craved because no one likes being on their own.
" Where are you going again? "

((Nowhere for awhile, Kross closed Rakine.))
"Rakine Port, next t'the sea..." Murk replied simply, he seemed to have much on his mind right now, his yellow eyes looking off far away. "Ye know where that is, rioght?" many wolves avoiding the human populated areas, which made sense, they felt they were wild beasts...
Murk could understand that, he spent a good part of his time avoiding human hands.

" No no. I know where it is. I... used to steal from the humans for a living. " blushing he looked away. He didn't know why he was blushing but he could feel his face warm up a little around his cheeks. Sniffing, he recollected when he stole from a little kid. Out of nowhere Cal had leaped and snatched the child's lunch just as he was about to put it into his mouth. The shouting of the parents was drowned out by the wailing of the small boy. Cal was gone though, before anyone had anytime to get a weapon or give chase.
" That place is very... busy. " The boats fascinated him. Once he had clambered onto one when the humans were not looing. It rocked gently from side to side and Cal remember watching the fish in the water swim about in the transparency. They were odd colours, dark, and only when the light hit their scales did he get a clear look of them. But then a woman noticed him and he had to get out of the boat before anyone got a rope around him. He would have hated captivity. Luckily he was too sly to ever be captured and tied to a post. He wouldn't make a very good pet dog that was for sure.
" Some of us wolves are better tamed than the dogs residing in that place. Some mutts there I have seen thrash around in the boats or attack the defensless young humans. " he hated those sorts of dogs. They angered him yet Cal was too shy to do anything about them. He would sit in the shadows, wait until the people had come to gather and save the child and he would use that chance to go into the building and snatch food. Sniffing slightly, he moved to Murk and stood by his side. " I'll come with you Murk. "
[[ It's Ok, we can roleplay them travelling to Rakine until the place is opened again if you'd like. Sorry for my inactiveness in this thread. ]]
