"Eh?" Thorfinn was surprised at Austin's strange reaction. He ran forward after him. "Wait, Austin? Are you OK?" He had seen the flinch and the eyes. Austin wasn't happy about something. Thorfinn was a perceptive dog, at best, but was uncertain why Austin had done that. Something he had said? Synl? Or maybe Austin did have somewhere to go? The Viking dog hoped he hadn't upset his new friend, so hurried up to him, jumping over the gravestones. "Austin, wait up!" he called.

At once, the golden wolf-dog stopped, looking back at Thorfinn with an expression that made it look as though he'd never made any such strange face. He smiled and flicked his ears. "Hey, no worries about me! L...Let's just get you down to Dante's Peak. We do need to get out of here." He sat down, giving a small chuckle.
