A Place to Stay [Mirage/NB/Mortil]

NightBlood began to panic when Umbra entered the cave. She waited until Mirage had settled into the log before running in after the gray wolf. She diped her head and placed her muzzle by his ear, speaking in hushed, but urgent tones.

"I don't doubt your strength, Umbra, but this cave is known by human hunters. I've been ubducted from it before. If you see fit, their is a large hollow log South East of here in the bush where you will be able to keep an eye on Mirage. I'll be back at nightfall with your meal."

If Umbra had nothing to say, the Sentry turned tail and took up a quick pace toward the border. She would make three laps around the territory before assuming the hunt for Umbra's meal. If Mirage was luckey, she might be in the mood to feed him too.

Umbra gave a heavy sigh and got up. "Have it your way, then." As per Nightblood's direction, the ash-grey wolf found the log easy enough. As Umbra eased into the log, he promptly closed his eyes. Not exactly roomy, but comfortable.

Wake up.

I'm tired. Take over.[/color]

Mirage continued to flick his ears occationally, of course eavesdropping. It made him grin that he'd not fallen easily into what he only presumed NightBlood had set up as a trap. Not that he would've noticed really; not really cared if the humans took him - he was quite convinced they could do nothing to him he'd already experianced - but he was grateful anyway.

As a note; he wasn't about to fall asleep. He was too...awake to sleep. Instead, he shifted slightly so he could look outside and watch for Night so he'd know when she came back, and waited patiently.
