At that statement, somehow the Sentry's thoughts moved to Archer. She had once thought he would make a good assassin. Now she wished he could be assassinated. Ironic. The grin didn't fade from her lips as she turned her attention back to Mirage.
"I fear for the safety of this pack, yes. You are right. I apologize for any time wasted."
With that, the Sentry stood up, sending a clear message to the gray male that it was time for him to leave, regardless of wether or not he had the energy to. He was unwelcome here. That was obvious.

"Oh, you want me to leave?" Mirage replied sarcastically, before sprawling out on the ground, stretching his limbs, but hissing in pain when he did. At least he was able to move a little now. But he really didn't want to. And that made all the difference.
"See, you seem to be under the mistaken authority that I respect your authority." He sighed, kind of sad-like. "Now see, if I'm not a part of your little pack, why should I do as you say?"

Blood scowled at the sarcasm. She didn't wager a wolf like this would be so arrogant- something she despised greatly. Maintaining some dignity, the Sentry glared at him with her good eye, the blood red making her look quite fierce with this new expression.
"You are on the border. Loners like you have no right to anything when you wonder so close to pack lands. Learn this and you might live longer."
With a rumbling growl, she signaled to him that the next time she told him to leave would be the last. She didn't bother to hide her fangs this time.

This time, Mirage got to his paws, fully ignoring the pain it shot through his entire body at the action. He didn't even wince as he faced her. After a quick scowl, he smirked slightly. "Now, I resent that." He replied evenly, before turning away from her.
Call him a daredevil. He turned his back on her, even going so far as to face towards the sky, exposing his throat. "Is there no way? And this time, spare me the scarcasm. In case you didn't realize before, I don't much like being what you may call a 'loner'." He turned back to her, for once appearing serious. "I'd do anything...just tell me what to do."

"Drop the attitude, maybe," she said, quite annoyed. But after careful consideration, she sat back down. She saw the way he had exposed himself to attack just now. He was serious. And he obviously needed a pack at this point. Sighing, Blood lowered her gaze to the ground. She didn't like it. She didn't trust him. But then... Mortil wasn't exactly trustworthy when he first arrived. She had even been against his acceptance...
BINGO! An idea bursted into NightBlood's mind immediately. Granted, it would be tricky convincing him, she was sure.
"Swear loyalty to Arnlan and the wolves that dwell in its land and I'll take you to someone to watch over you while you heal."
Her tone was dark. She was referring Umbra to a new member for the first time. She knew Umbra would not kill a pack member unless they posed a threat to Mortil's life. NightBlood was knew he would be able to fight an injured wolf off of him if it came down to it.

He chuckled at her first suggestion. That was one thing that would never, and had never changed. And he'd gone through some life-changing things. Still, his attitude remained. No changing it.
Her second...well, demand, was more understanding. However, one could not just swear loyalty to a pack they knew nothing about. He paused, turning to her and bowing his head in thought.
It only took him a moment, however, before he nodded and raised his head. Might as well do it formally. "From here on, I thus swear loyalty to the wolf pack, Arnlan, and shall place whatever life I have left on the line for it's members...unless I don't like them." Sure, he added some things, but he wasn't perfect and wasn't about to act like he was. And he figured he might as well be completly honest, though.
He stood, this time not bothering to hide the wince of pain from his injuries. "Now who is this guardian I'm to be assigned to?" He asked.

Blood gave a small chuckle to his added statement. There were some members the Sentry thought Arnlan would be better off without. But it was not her place to chase him out. Lucky bastard...
"Welcome to Arnlan. My full name is NightBlood for future references."
The female's ears perked slightly at the question. A wicked grin came across her face. She lowered her head. There was a darker tine to her voice this time.
"Mortilitas Umbra."

Night or Blood? He debated on which to call her, then settled on Night. It sounded better. Suddenly, her new tone of voice made him look up, curious. Return of the grin. This person sounded like fun.
"Care to introduce us?" He offered.

At Mirage's offer, Blood turned on the spot and began to head to the heart of Arnlan where she suspected Mortil would be. She kept a steady pace, not wanting to leave the injured wolf behind. There was a nagging question in the back of her mind. She remembered how irate Sofika had been after she accepted Tricker. Could this wolf be the same?
-What have I gotten myself into?-
