"At last! Ha ha ha! Something to break this inane monotony!"
NightBlood gave an arrogant smile as she saw him in her peripheral vision. Even with Umbra being as insane as he was, he was still fun to be around when he wasn't an enemy.
"Come on, whatever you are! My fangs hunger for blood and death!"
So soon after his last opponent? Of course. She had been the one to rip his head off. Literally. He'd get the killing blow this time if Mirage didn't catch it first.
"Well? Don't just sit there! I won't wait for you to take your sweet time! Let us dance the wonderful dance of death together!"
"Sounds good to me."
The Sentry tensed as a mammoth of a bear ran full steam at them. Her claws dug at the earth as it rumbled under its charge. She'd never fought a bear before, though she'd heard tales of other's battles with them. 75% of them ended with the bear as the victor. She hoped that would not be the case today.
As the titan stood up on it's hind legs and roared, the Sentry's ears folded and her tail dropped. Her eyes became wide with fear, but she quickly shook her head to get rid of the thoughts of death. She would not die today. In an instant, NightBlood ducked to avoid the swipe from the bear. Any one hit from this thing would surely render her unconscious or worse.
Her chance to attack was at hand when the bear lifted its paw for a second slash. She dived for it's leg, fangs at the ready. Surey it could not reach there easily to knock her loose.

What to do, what to do? Umbra skirted back a few steps as the bear came lumbering out of the foliage. The agile warrior darted forward, raking claws as he dove by the bear. Hit and run. That's what he'll do. Indulge in a bit of winnowing, a bit of fun. Umbra laughed as he darted around the slow and clumsy bear. Its attempts at attack were dangerous, but easily avoided. Umbra's eye glinted. Perhaps they'd eat something other than duck today.
The devious wolf leaped at the bear from behind in a surprise attack, tearing his sharp fangs into the left hamstrings of the bear's hindleg. "Mirage. Hamstring his right." the order was implacable, merciless. Umbra grinned through the blood, savoring the taste.

The smaller grey wolf, the lines of blue across his fur turning to mere blurs of the color as he dashed allow the opposite side of this monstrous enemy, a sadistic grin on his face as he leapt up to the bear's arm, snagging it with tooth and claw before s ubtle sensation dipped at the back of his mind.
May I...?
The grin turned a bit worse, and he flicked his ears at Umbra's words. Hamstring. Ha. Fun...Be my guest, Blood-Eyes...just don't overdo it.
Not to worry. I will.
Oo, the secrets of it all. Mirage's one midnight blue eye flashed a curious red, almost exact hue of freshly spilled blood. Letting go of the bear's arm, the gray wolf darted along to edge before skidding along the side to meet Umbra at the back. He flashed him a sickening grin before whipping around, digging those sharp claws into the back of the bear's legs, snapping up a peice of the torn flesh and devouring the shred rather quickly. Delicious.
(Mwaha...beware, Nightblood!)

All of a sudden everything rocked into motion. The larger of the wolves ducked out of the way of the Bears swinging arm, and the two small grey wolves darted behind him and out of sight. Suddenly a searing pain gripped the back of his legs, nearly sending him toppling down. He lumbered his great black body around to look at those tiny grey peons that just tore a great deal of flesh out of his legs.
Annoying little caniculas! He swore at them in the bear-tongue, which came out as a fierce gurgling snarl. He brought his torso powerfully down, his front feet pounding the ground with the force of a hundred horses. He swung his mighty head forward, wanting to rend those wolves of their own. Lethal teeth shone through saliva dripping chops, grabbing for the closest grey wolf to him. Regaining his balance finally, he stood up once more and flung a mighty arm toward the pests, claws aimed to rip off the smiles off their sorry little faces. He was hurting, and someone was going to pay dearly for it.

"It's easy to want to attack a bear's legs. Fear of fangs, for some reason, is greater than fear of claws. Probably because it's easier to see them. NEVER attack a bear by the legs. The arms will reach down and knock you away like a twig. Go for the face and neck. They can't reach up to get you off. Don't fear the fangs. They can only move in one direction at a time."
As the bear fell onto its fore paws, NightBlood darted out of the way, one of those sharp claws clipping her in the hip. It wasn't a deep cut, but it hurt enough to knock her to her senses and remind her of her father's lesson. Now that he was on the ground, there was no dire need to stop attacking the back legs, but it was best to end this fight quickly.
A flash of white fangs tore through the air. The Sentry knew he was going for one of the gray wolves. There was no hesitation. NightBlood jumped for the bear's face and aimed her jaws for whatever piece of flesh she could get at. She'd lock down and begin tearing at him with her claws if she succeeded.
