"Yeap, alone and grounded. Once I tell your mom that you tried to scare me. And then you tried to pull rank on me...you know rank that wasn't yours." A sly smirk cracked across her muzzle as she turned. Those icy blue eyes twinkled, "After all, I'm sure she wouldn't be happy to hear that...I bet she tried to teach you how to be respectful to pack mates."

She wasn't dumb, and she wasn't scared of him, at all. But she could respect him if he didn't act like such a nimrod. Viv's tail wagged playfully, hopefully he had some sense in his freshly weaned mind.

"You were the one trying to be a tough first." she laughed. "At least I'll admit that I was wrong thinking Akree was your mom...but to be fair, she could have been." she batted her eyelashes and wiggled her ears, trying to look as innocent as she could.

"So I'm sorry...about that."

Akree wrinkled her nose, this female should be the pack's tattle tale...wait....there was a name for that.....though scouts had more respect and honor than her....hmmm. She smiled and rolled her eyes, spunky little fella and that was, well below the belt playing the "mom" card. Made her feel better she hadn't really known her parents that much, that she would get grounded.

-"You were the one trying to be a tough first." she laughed. "At least I'll admit that I was wrong thinking Akree was your mom...but to be fair, she could have been."

Akree raised an eyebrow, what did that mean. She shook her fur, trying to shake the words out of her head to, luckily for her she was easily distracted, though she had the memory of an elephant. She chuckled darkly as the female's eyes widened, batted her eyelashes and all that nonesense, trying to play innocent, hmm. She flashed a grin, well Surethim had turned away and she wasn't gonna loose sight of that furball. 'Specially since she promised she owuld keep the ball of tan safe and back before sunset.

-"So I'm sorry...about that."

She looked back at Vivian and flashed a smile, turning back to make sure that pup didn't get in more trouble. Of course, probably the female though she'd be kissing up to the beta, hell if she'd known what trouble she would get herself if the pup encountered 'nother wolf she would steer well away from wolves, in fact she would steer well away from anything that could open its mouth to talk, even hares, she thought with a chuckle.

"Alright, alright! I'm sorry!"

It was horrifying enough thinking that this female could find and tell his mom about how much of a pain in the rear he'd been. With nothing to counter her in his defense now that she had said 'sorry', he was left to apologize.

"You're the one being mean, though. You said I wasn't scary."

He backed up and hid behind Akree's front leg again, shielding himself from any rebuttal that Vivian would throw out. ... Yes, he was quite brave.

As quickly as she had gotten annoyed with the pup her temperament went back to friendly and playful. Her ears tipping up with a squinted content smile.

"That's okay. But you aren't scary...not yet. " she smiled toothily and nearly wiggled back and forth that Surethim hadn't really been terribly mad at her. "But you probably will...once you get older."

"Its just I wasn't scared of you...which I didn't mean to say it to sound mean..." Pete had always told her sometimes she sounded like she was being rude and unkind, but she never really meant to. Vivian frowned that wasn't what she had meant to do, which was why her feelings had been hurt that the little pup had tried to frighten her off. But she quickly bound over to where Akree and Surethim were standing. "Besides, what good is being scary?"

"Sallin wolfs are scary, Arnlan wolfs are supposed to be sneaky anyways..." that's what she had heard anyways, and a slight lisp from her missing milk teeth made her saying wolves almost unbearably cute. She took a long moment to pause and look at the two and then her face lit up.

"I was huntin' rabbits, did you guys want to help?"

At this age her attention span was about as long as a mayfly's, and she sure seemed hopeful that the two would want to help, hunting rabbits was fun, even more fun with friends.

-"Alright, alright! I'm sorry!"

Akree chuckled at the pup's apology, seemed more like an after thought, could have been a bit more kind, 'cept it was an after thought.

-"You're the one being mean, though. You said I wasn't scary."

She lifted a paw when Surethim ducked under her front legs again, talk about courageous. But she simply chuckled and let the pup do as he pleased.

-"That's okay. But you aren't scary...not yet. " she smiled toothily and nearly wiggled back and forth that Surethim hadn't really been terribly mad at her. "But you probably will...once you get older."

-"Its just I wasn't scared of you...which I didn't mean to say it to sound mean... Besides, what good is being scary?"

-"Sallin wolfs are scary, Arnlan wolfs are supposed to be sneaky anyways..."

Wow, talkative female, reminded her of some boring speech, she even was starting to get drowsy. But Akree tried to keep some sort of smile on her face, being polite....

-"I was huntin' rabbits, did you guys want to help?"

Akree beamed up at the talk of hunting. Sure she would have preferred hunting something a bit bigger than hares, but with a pup and a yearling she doubted that would be possible.

-"'Course I'd love to go hunting!" she said with a gin "What do ya say Surethim?" she asked turning to look down at Surethim "This would be your first time hunting?"

"That's okay. But you aren't scary...not yet. But you probably will...once you get older."

Surethim grinned at the thought. He'd love to be older right about now. Scaring his brothers and sisters. Well... maybe not Zuka. Heck, she'd probably scare him.

"Its just I wasn't scared of you...which I didn't mean to say it to sound mean..."

"It's okay."

"Besides, what good is being scary? Sallin wolfs are scary, Arnlan wolfs are supposed to be sneaky anyways..."

Surethim had to think on that one. It was true. Arnlan was supposed to be full of shadows that were really wolves. But, looking at his fur, he wondered if he'd ever be able to be as sneaky as Arnlanians were supposed to be.

"I was huntin' rabbits, did you guys want to help?"

The pup wagged his tail. Hunting? Hunting?! He'd wanted to do that ever since he'd seen his mom catch a rabbit outside of the den a few days ago!

"'Course I'd love to go hunting! What do ya say Surethim? This would be your first time hunting?"

"Yeah! I've wanted to try it for a while now!"
