Yeah...I think we need a plot that involves everyone. That way, we can get some interesting action in, no matter where anyone is from.

NOTICE: I like it how Kahvs back then said, "I'll be off for a while. 'Got stuff to do, but I'll be back soon." and the board was basicaly dead silent, like waiting her back. I could count a day's posts on one hand. Now One of the base members leaves, Kahvs pops up like, "Oh Crap! What a shame. Well, don't wait up for me kids, I'll be late." and now I can't keep up with the posts again =D
Like when parents tell the kids "Alright, you'll be taking care of the house for a while..." XD

;-; I NO WANT KO TO GO BYE-BYE. -clings to everyone for dear life-
This is the only actual forum where I've felt like I fit in. Seriously. On all the other forums that I'm on/have been on (and let me tell you, there's been a lot) I've just felt like I've been in the way. But KO's different. It isn't like huges one such as BBA where you have to rush around and if you aren't a leader, have a high rank, or are good at art you're usually ignored. And on the tiny ones, it's like that too, minus the bustling around. And there isn't that hostility or that fight for attention and to be the best like in other forums, everyone seems to get along, or atleast try to. Yak now? For example, I got called a suck-up for saying what someone else said was funny.
Only real suggestion is advertise more and do what BF suggested. If you aren't gonna be around as much, appoint someone you really trust. And the contests + more plots.
EDIT1: Alright. I have this idea about a contest. What we do is post it EVERYWHERE. And I mean EVERYWHERE. Every forum that you're on, your dA, ShezzyArt, Livejournal, etc. I mean like spread the word around to everyone. Would probably be an art contest... Anyway. I gots cash 'round 80 dollars. That may not seem like alot, but if the deadline is in a couple of months, that really adds uuupp, since I get $25 a month. And a little extra in March (parent's anniversary).
Kinda extreme but I looove this place so much.
EDIT2: Flaws though are the fact that I don't have paypal and my parents would question where all my money went. DAAAAMMMMNNNIITALLLLL. DDD<

Crud - I am sooo sorry for being inactive lately guys and doing my part in letting this place fall D: I've been getting more busy with real-life stuff (relating to work/training & relationships) and have been feeling drained because of it. On the other side of it, I've also been more into art than RPing in the past few weeks. I feel REALLY bad saying this, but I'm not sure what I'll be doing activity-wise here. I'm a little less busy now (after the bobcat digger course in the next couple days), so hopefully I'll be able to lift my game.
The fact that there's still people joining and longer-term members who want to keep it going is great. I think, though, that the comic was probably what was going to draw the most people in, and with that option gone, I dunno :/ (And I'm not saying you should keep going with it even if you don't feel like it Kavs! I've said it before - art should be something you do because you feel like it.)

I just thought of a little different idea...
This board was built around the comic. I for one know that drawing takes lots of time and lots out of you, to the point that you get sick of it and never want to look at a pencil and paper/compter art program again!
But instead of totally scrapping the idea, instead of drawing it, how about writing it? Does not have to be fancy or majorly laid out, just enough for the story to be told and to keep all us who are waiting for what happened and what happens next...
Writing is just as great a stress reliever as drawing, and takes much less time, is easier to edit, and I love reading a good story...
Just an idea...
and everyone suggesting forum wide plots: Tis a nice idea, but i'm a little skeptical-I don't currently have any ideas of my own, so I have no room to talk...

Here's my personal idea conserning the subject of the rp board. Also on a totally unrelated note, where can we find the whole version of your avatar picture Kahvs (if it is uploaded somewhere at all)? I wanna see the pic, but I can't find it anywhere. D8

If you feel that illustrating a comic may be too much, Kavs, why not write the story? You could incorporate art into it in the form of illustrations, and that way you could illustrate it however you want (i.e., in your loose and flowing sketchy-style) rather than being forced to use a comp and keeping the artwork "sharp." I'd hate to see the comic part go, but at the same time, I love reading stories and looking at illustrations every bit as much.

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for my inactivity, RP wise. I do enjoy RPing, and am considering a new thread detailing events after "Just a Breather?". However I agree with the posts before me, there should be a plot to involve a lot more of us than conversations that eventually die off. Perhaps not being so strict on the posting order would help as well. Arnlan and Synl are supposedly hostile to Sallin. That doesn't appear much in RPs. Personally, not knowing much about 1920s Sweden kind of rules out big world events, so we need some other idea. I was thinking the pack conflicts that should be occurring at some point. Well, that's all I'll say for now. I'll make a thread in Rakine Port later. If anyone still lives there.
